Job Summary

This role is responsible for performing general building maintenance of restaurant and grounds to ensure the cleanliness, upkeep, and safety of each location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent support to team and management under stress, following direction and daily checklists with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the property, including FOH, BOH, restrooms, exterior sidewalks, parking, and landscaping.
  • Remove trash and recycling throughout the property into designated waste bins.
  • Help with safely unloading and putting away truck orders with care and respect for the product.
  • Wash dishes according to food safety guidelines.
  • Assist with basic repair and maintenance when possible.
  • Keep the lot, lobby, dining room, kitchen counters/service areas, and restrooms clean.
  • Follow all food and personal safety procedures for designated tasks, such as using PPE.
  • Replenish and rotate supplies for personal workstation every shift and assist others as needed.
  • Upon request, assist with preparation of food items when assigned, with attention to detail to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Operate assigned equipment only as intended, reporting any issues or concerns immediately to management.
  • Be dressed and ready to work on time, ensuring hygiene and appearance adhere to uniform guidelines.

  • Communication: Ability to clearly understand spoken and written English language, and communicate with management, vendors, and team.
  • Math: Ability to do basic addition and subtraction.

  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with company policies and procedures, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs without assistance.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. Frequently required to use hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with arms and hands.
  • Must be able to maintain balance to stand and walk for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours a day in an environment with hazards including slippery floors, sharp equipment, and waist-level kitchen hazards.
  • Ability to execute frequent repetitive physical motions such as walking, bending, reaching above head, reaching at waist level, reaching below waist, button pushing, for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Must be able to work in high-stress, high-temperature environments for up to 8 hours a day.
