Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a Culture of Safety: Foster a zero-incident culture by identifying and addressing potential hazards, conducting thorough investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Participate in Tier Meetings and utilize the Pactiv Business System (PBS) to promote continuous improvement, leveraging tools such as A3, 5S, Standard Work, and Problem Solving.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Monitor, adjust, calibrate, and repair manufacturing equipment, instruments, and fixtures to ensure optimal performance.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Conduct in-depth PLC, HMI, motor drive troubleshooting and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Electrical and Electronic Installations: Perform electrical and electronic installations and modifications, demonstrating a deep understanding of electric circuitry, electronics, and electromechanical concepts.
  • Interpretation and Creation of Technical Documents: Interpret all levels of drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, specifications, and create PLC ladder diagrams to support equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Problem-Solving and Continuous Improvement: Utilize problem-solving techniques, including PDCA, to solve problems to root cause, implement actions to prevent reoccurrence, and improve operations.
  • Technical Assistance and Training: Provide technical assistance to improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and supply training to all levels of the organization.
  • Contractor Management and Engineering Support: Supervise contractors to minimize scheduled and unscheduled downtimes and maintain and manage engineering department technical procedures, manuals, and drawings.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Sustain housekeeping in assigned areas to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
