Nemours is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Care team. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective nursing care to pediatric patients with minimal guidance, based on identified principles and standards of care.
- Collaborate with clinical medical providers to assess and treat patients, and provide daily patient care.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as complying with administrative policies and clinical protocols.
- Triages patient calls using Barton Schmidt pediatric protocols and national telehealth standards.
- Administers medications as prescribed by the provider and performs phlebotomy to obtain blood specimens.
- Provides age and developmentally appropriate care to primary care patients.
- BSN preferred, with a commitment to obtaining a BSN within 3 years of hire for Associate Degree Nurses and within 4 years for Diploma Nurses.
- Must have or be eligible for a DE nursing license.
- Pediatric Office Nurse experience required, with a preference for phone triage experience.
- BLS Certification with the American Heart Association required.
- 3-5 years of job-related experience.
Monday through Friday, 30 hours per week, between 7:30am and 5:00pm. No evening or weekend shifts, but flexibility may be required based on department needs.
