Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year. Job Description

A talented and experienced Floral Designer is sought after to join our team at Schaaf Floral. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for designing floral arrangements following established recipes as well as creating custom designs within budget parameters and available product.

• Designing floral arrangements for various occasions, including funeral pieces and events.
• Assisting walk-in customers with selecting and customizing floral designs tailored to their needs, keeping both budget and design considerations in mind.
• Providing outstanding customer service via phone, answering questions, taking orders, and advising on floral pieces for specific occasions.
• Supporting general shop operations, including processing flowers, managing the cooler, caring for plants, and general cleaning as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in floral design.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for customer service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle the demands of a fast-paced work environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
