We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Trinity Health of New England. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality phlebotomy services in our Patient Service Centers.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and process blood and other specimens from patients of all age groups according to established policies and procedures.
- Verify patient identification, prepare skin sites, and perform venipuncture and skin puncture according to established aseptic techniques.
- Label specimens and transport them to the laboratory for analysis.
- Drive personal vehicle to travel to other Patient Service Centers as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- National Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license in good standing required.
- 1 year of experience in phlebotomy preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and phlebotomy skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
