Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tire and Lubrication Technician I to join our Fleet Services team at the City of Little Rock, AR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing tire repair and maintenance services, responding to road service calls, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tire repair and maintenance services, including tire changing, balancing, and lubrication.
  • Respond to road service calls to repair and replace flat tires on City of Little Rock fleet vehicles and equipment.
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment, hand/power tools, tire changing machines, balancing equipment, and other specialized tools and equipment.
  • Inspect and maintain fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License.
  • One year of experience in the repair and maintenance of tires for various vehicle types, including heavy equipment, truck, and automobile.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, during inclement weather, and during emergency situations as required.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
