We're seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Care Coordinator to join our team at House Rx LLC. As a pivotal member of our team, you will work closely with specialty care clinics and our team to improve the specialty pharmacy experience for patients and their caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete prior authorizations and ensure timely processing of pharmacy claims
  • Source financial assistance on behalf of patients and navigate specialty medication benefits investigation
  • Process pharmacy claims and coordinate medication dispensing and shipping
  • Dispensing functions including medication ordering, labeling, and ensuring proper verification is complete
  • Improve the patient experience by answering questions and requests, and acting as a liaison between the patient, their provider, and the pharmacist
About You

We're looking for a creative problem solver who is passionate about positively impacting each patient's pharmacy experience. You should have:

  • Mastery of core pharmacy technician skills, such as processing claims and dispensing medications
  • Experience navigating specialty medication benefits investigation, prior authorization, and financial assistance
  • Proficiency in common pharmacy software systems, such as QS1, ComputerRx, PioneerRx, WAM, and experience with EMR systems (EPIC, Cerner, NextGen) or specialty pharmacy systems (Therigy, Asembia1, ScriptMed)
  • Familiarity with specialty medications, including medications used in autoimmune, endocrinology, and oncology
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • Pharmacy technician, licensed practical nurse, or similar licensure as may be required in the applicable state
