Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Director of Nursing to manage the overall operations of the Nursing Department in accordance with Company policies, standards of nursing practices, and governmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting and training stakeholders to provide the best care possible to residents.
Responsibilities- Manage the overall operations of the Nursing Department
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing services department
- Assist with development of and approve final version of the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care for each resident
- Confirm accurate completion of forms/reports for the admission, transfer, and/or discharge of each resident
- Registered Nurse in good standing with required current state license
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in long-term care and/or acute care setting required
- Minimum of two (2) years management/supervisory experience required
- Must have a current/active CPR certification
