Job Title: Genetics RN Case Manager

International SOS Government Medical Services is seeking a highly skilled Genetics RN Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to our clients, utilizing your expertise in genetics and oncology to deliver high-quality services.

Job Summary:

This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. The successful candidate will represent International SOS and provide services outlined below.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with hematology and oncology services, equivalent to those provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Utilize telehealth technology to deliver services to patients remotely.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in genetics and oncology.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and unrestricted license to practice nursing in any state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
  • Genetics specific training or certification.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)/Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency.
  • Telehealth- Teleoncology experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior VA or military experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience as an RN Case Manager specializing in Genetics.
Education:

Candidates must be a graduate of a school of nursing that was approved and/or accredited by the appropriate State agency and accredited by either the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) at the time the program was completed.

Physical Requirements:

Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time. May require bending, stooping and lifting to 25 lbs.

Other Special Qualifications:

US Citizen. Must relocate to project site for the duration of the contract. Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance.
