About the Role:

The Stock Handler position is a critical role within our supply chain team, responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of products through our warehouse. As a Stock Handler, you will be responsible for unloading warehouse units from pallets, checking actual items against stock labels, and maintaining a high level of accuracy in your work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload warehouse units from pallets and check actual items against stock labels using a scanning equipment
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in your work, with a goal of 99.86% accuracy rate
  • Operate power equipment to deliver pallets or slabs directly to location for unloading
  • Use a utility knife to open cartons and/or remove carton strapping
  • Stack excess stock or surplus behind the corresponding bin location
  • Maintain the stock and order processing floor in a state of readiness to better facilitate the processing of customer orders
  • Perform housekeeping and shift hand-off functions at the end of each shift
Requirements:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Able to read, write and understand English
  • Ability to constantly stand, walk, push/pull, and reach above shoulder level
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds constantly and up to 40 pounds frequently, and lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Ability to analyze problems and effectively resolve issues
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all personnel
  • Proficient with math calculations
  • Previous forklift experience
