The Registered Nurse in Emergency Services is responsible for the independent planning and delivery of nursing care to patients, adhering to physician directives and established protocols, while operating within the framework of the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Key Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and a valid RN license in Georgia, in good standing with no restrictions.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of full-time nursing experience following orientation or residency training.
  • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association.
