Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive engagement work plans that align with client needs.
  • Prepare detailed budgets and timelines for audit projects.
  • Contribute to proposal development and client presentations.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of associates, including interns, providing ongoing performance feedback.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and leadership.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting.
  • Experience with audits of private companies is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
  • CPA certification or eligibility to take the CPA exam is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with audit software such as Caseware or ProSystem FX.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Essential Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in a public accounting environment.
  • Experience with private company audits.
  • CPA designation or nearing completion of CPA requirements.
