Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our Fabrication Team at Axis Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal products, operating fabricating machines, and performing welding tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fabrication plans and sequences of operations
  • Set up and operate fabricating machines, including brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, and drill presses
  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products, including structural automotive components and assemblies
  • Perform MIG/TIG welding tasks, including positioning, aligning, and fitting parts
  • Design and construct templates and fixtures as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certified welder preferred
  • Ability to work any shift assigned, including weekends and overtime
  • Basic toolroom machinery and measuring tools skills required
  • Able to travel to customer locations as needed
