This is an exempt level position with ADM. The Information Technology Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the security of information systems assets, to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.

The successful candidate will review firewall and proxy requests, evaluating them for adoption to ensure conformity with current security best practices and policy, focusing on layer 3 and 4 of the TCP/IP framework.

Key responsibilities include assessing business and technical requests, evaluating risk, and implementing effective security mitigations or working with requestors to provide remediation requirements that meet business objectives.

The role involves representing the Global Information and Cyber Security (GICS) function in change and incident processes, ensuring adherence to current security best practices and policy.

The successful candidate will involve senior security analyst and engineer peers when uncertainty arises in approach or decision-making, particularly when evaluating Service Now tickets, especially Incident and Change requests.

A clear understanding of GICS policies and procedures, maintained on the GICS Policies and Standards website, is essential for success in this role.

The selected candidate will establish and continually evolve ongoing processes and procedures for Global firewall and proxy change requests, utilizing a ticketing system for documenting and processing requests and incidents involving GICS.

Additionally, the role requires verifying IT infrastructure and applications are compliant with IT Policy, applying network & server administration skills and knowledge to guide system-level administrators in IT Policy compliance.

The successful candidate will articulate the impact and requirements of IT assets related to requests, involving more senior team members at appropriate times for recommendations on approval decisions.

Supporting the Vulnerability Remediation program is also a key responsibility, including conducting and interfacing with Attack Surface Management team on assessments and administrative audits on computer systems and network devices as part of the request and approval process.

The selected candidate will schedule, coordinate, and track the remediation of open vulnerabilities for assets owned by GICS, coordinating the assignment of vulnerabilities for assets owned by GICS applications and tools to the respective teams for resolution.

Monitoring metrics and performance indicators for the vulnerability remediation program, including reporting to management and team members, is also required.

Additional responsibilities include assisting overall Global Information and Cyber Security (GICS) functions as directed, displaying enthusiasm and interest in IT Security, and participating in ITSM - Service and Incident Request tasks, vulnerability item reviews, new software requests, network security tasks, and other global information and cyber security tasks.

The successful candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members in a geographic and culturally diverse workforce, and functional experience in ITIL processes and Service Desk platforms (Service Now, SOC Module).

An estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This amount may vary depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, and company policies.
