Job Title: Civil Engineering Practice Leader - Residential Land Development

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Practice Leader to join our Residential Land Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of residential subdivision projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:

* Lead the design and development of residential subdivision projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery
* Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians to ensure the successful completion of projects
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends to ensure the team's expertise remains current and relevant

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
* Professional registration (P.E., L.S., etc.) in one or more states in which Timmons Group conducts business
* 8+ years' experience in civil engineering, specifically in residential subdivision design
* 4+ years' experience in project management, preferably in the Triad land development market
* Strong understanding of project accounting and budget management
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
