Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and successful delivery experience for mothers and their newborns.
Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to work with our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to mothers and their newborns, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various medical procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and medical histories.
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate records of patient care.
- Current RN licensure in the state where you will be practicing.
- At least one year of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with knowledge of labor and delivery procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
