Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Riviana Foods' Safety and Accident Prevention protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness in break rooms, laboratories, and office spaces.
  • Regularly empty trash receptacles and shredders within the office environment.
  • Conduct routine trash disposal throughout the facility.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of walls from top to bottom on a weekly basis.
  • Remove spider webs, sweep, and ensure the front parking area is tidy.
  • Assist in the inventory management of personal protective equipment and sanitation supplies, aiding the Sanitation Supervisor with procurement.
  • Support operators in maintaining equipment cleanliness and addressing product spills.
  • Participate in executing tasks outlined in the Master Cleaning Procedures.
  • Ensure restrooms are stocked with essential supplies such as toilet paper and paper towels.
  • Conduct daily cleaning of restroom facilities.
  • Clean roll-up doors, floor drains, lighting fixtures, and other equipment.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of roofs, gutters, and ventilation systems.
  • Maintain air conditioning pipes and forklifts.
  • Refill propane tanks as necessary.
  • Inspect wooden structural elements for maintenance needs.
  • Assist in managing the water supply for the cooler in the laboratory.
  • Forklift experience is advantageous; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
