Job Summary:The Per Diem Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including medical-surgical units. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education and support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to process changes.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Washington.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
