About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications in medical imaging.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging.
Requirements
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) upon hire.
  • National Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification upon hire.
  • California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire.
  • Experience in ultrasound technology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in ultrasound technology or a related field.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
