The Apprentice Plumber is responsible for assisting the Plumber on the job site, loading the truck with tools and/or materials, and assisting with inventory of truck supplies and job site material inventory.
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. OSHA 10 Certification is required, and a high school diploma or GED is preferred.
The Apprentice Plumber will work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions and will be exposed to toxic gases and/or solvents. The workday will be 8 hours or more, and the workweek will be 5 to 6 days.
Responsibilities- Assist the Plumber on the job site
- Load the truck with tools and/or materials
- Assist with inventory of truck supplies and job site material inventory
- Help care for company property
- Keep work area neat and clean
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Experience:
None required, but a minimum of 6 months plumbing or general construction experience is preferred
Skills:
Good communication skills, willingness to learn, ability to lift 50 pounds, OSHA 10 Certification
