Key ResponsibilitiesThe Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care. Working alongside medical professionals, the RN will provide both pre-operative and post-operative care, advocating for patients to ensure an outstanding healthcare experience.
In this role, you will:
- Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, promptly reporting any changes.
- Carry out medical procedures as directed by healthcare providers.
- Accurately document patient care in medical records in a timely manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to cardiac and medical-surgical care.
- A Diploma or Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or current enrollment in a BSN program is preferred.
- A valid Registered Nurse License from the Department of Health Professions or a multi-state privilege is required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within one year of employment.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time day shifts (12-hour shifts) with rotating weekends.
