About the Job

We are seeking a skilled State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team at IntelyCare. As a STNA, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in post-acute care facilities in the Sandusky, OH area.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to residents, including vital sign checks and regular reports to the nursing team
  • Observe residents' conditions and alert supervising staff to any concerns or emergencies
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as toileting, grooming, and feeding
  • Keep residents' living areas clean and sanitized
  • Communicate with family members and other visitors to address their concerns
  • Move residents safely and comfortably to and from exam tables, beds, and wheelchairs
Requirements
  • Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and nursing care procedures
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Effective organizational skills and communication skills
