Job Overview

Burgeson's Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Infield Technician Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of infield HVAC technicians. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, leadership experience, and a proven track record of managing infield teams to achieve operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of HVAC technicians, providing direction and guidance on scheduling, task assignment, and progress monitoring.
  • Provide technical support to technicians, assisting with troubleshooting complex HVAC issues and ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer complaints, investigating issues and providing timely resolutions while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections and checks on completed work to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
  • Mentor and train infield HVAC technicians, facilitating skill development and maintaining a high level of technical competence within the team.
  • Foster positive client relationships by addressing concerns, providing status updates, and ensuring service excellence.
  • Participate in safety committee meetings, contribute to safety policy updates, hazard assessments, and accident investigations, and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Maintain detailed records of all service activities, including job completions, equipment inspections, technician performance, and customer complaint resolutions.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HVAC technology, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC service and repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Valid HVAC certification (e.g., NATE, EPA) and OSHA 30-hour safety certification are a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance, as well as strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
