Position Overview:
We are looking for dedicated and proficient Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide exceptional care to patients with cardiovascular conditions within the Allina Health organization.


Job Summary:
Nursing involves the assessment and management of human responses to actual or potential health issues. This role includes fostering a purposeful therapeutic relationship between the registered nurse, the patient, and their family. As a pivotal figure in patient care, the professional nurse is entrusted with the responsibility, authority, and accountability for planning, coordinating, and assessing the care needs of patients.

Specialization:
This position focuses on the care of individuals experiencing various cardiovascular disorders.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of an Associate's or Vocational degree is mandatory.
  • Tier 1: Minimum of one year of telemetry RN experience.
  • Tier 2: Minimum of one year of med/surg RN experience.
  • Tier 3: New Graduate RN.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Must possess an Associate's or Vocational degree.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required if practicing in Minnesota upon hire or BLS Tier - Basic Life Support - Multisource required by the end of orientation.
  • ACLS Tier 2 is required for specific units as determined by the hiring manager.
