AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Analyst to join our team in New York, NY. As a key member of our construction management team, you will work closely with the NYC SCA on projects related to schools throughout New York City and the surrounding boroughs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our financial and cornerstone systems to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Apply financial terminology, measures, and data analysis concepts to drive project success.
  • Identify potential project financial impacts and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for small projects.
  • Assist in establishing project baseline data using drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct basic analysis of cost and schedule variances.
  • Develop knowledge of accounting principles and apply them to project management.
  • Support data collection and analysis for trending and forecasting.
  • Collect and analyze data for tracking actual cost to funding limitations.
  • Provide support for tracking purchase order and subcontract commitments and expenditures.
  • Gain exposure to basic scheduling and cost baseline fundamentals.
  • Introduced to performance management and cost/schedule integration concepts.
  • Develop knowledge of scope control and change management.
  • Support project reporting process as required.
  • May participate in project cost review meetings.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Must be a US Citizen due to the nature of the work.
