Become an integral part of our operations as a Slitting Machine Technician at Steel Technologies LLC. In this role, you will be tasked with the precise setup and operation of slitting machinery to fulfill production specifications and customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately configure the slitting machine in accordance with production directives
  • Verify coil identity and properly load coils onto the slitting apparatus
  • Thread materials through the slitting head, eliminating any non-compliant segments
  • Manage the recoiler and uphold production standards by measuring and confirming specifications
    • Record and assess various dimensions and conditions of the materials
    • Modify machine settings to rectify any issues during the slitting process
    • Engage with supervisors regarding production challenges
  • Secure slit materials and maintain precise production documentation
  • Assist with machine upkeep and troubleshooting tasks
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace
