Key Responsibilities of the Store Manager:

  • Lead the Inside/Counter Sales team and the Account Manager/Outside Sales team while fostering and nurturing essential customer relationships.
  • Establish and communicate financial and operational performance objectives for the store.
  • Guide and mentor staff by collaborating with Human Resources on organizational structure, talent management, and employee relations.
  • Work alongside Talent Acquisition to formulate recruitment strategies addressing both external and internal hiring needs.
  • Consult with the Regional Manager on matters pertaining to store operations.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to create both short-term and long-term sales forecasts for the Account Manager/Outside Sales team.
  • Ensure the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly financial obligations; adhere to month-end closing and cutoff protocols.
  • Guarantee compliance with safety regulations and vehicle policies.
  • Implement regional and corporate initiatives, including the introduction of new systems and policy changes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all product lines.
  • Oversee financial operations, including inventory management and the handling of funds.

Ideal Candidates for the Store Manager Position Will Possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of management experience, including full P&L accountability, inventory oversight, and personnel management.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Operations and/or Sales.
  • Expertise in the heavy-duty sector, specifically regarding truck and trailer parts and/or heavy-duty service repair.
  • Capability to operate power industrial equipment, such as forklifts.
