We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Adventist HealthCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care in the operating room, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred or currently enrolled in Bachelors of Nursing program.
- Active Maryland RN license required.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS preferred.
- One year of current nursing experience within an OR and/or surgical services setting.
Every Saturday & Sunday 7p-7a with holiday rotation and on call as needed.
