As a Logistics Operations Manager with Ryder System, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Estimated salary for this position is $67,000 - $72,000 per year, based on location and experience. Compensation ranges may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, education, work location, market data/ranges, internal equity, internal salary ranges, etc.

Job Description:

  • Directly manage the day-to-day work of drivers, responsible for professional, timely, and effective internal and external interactions via phone calls and system messages.
  • Maintain driver detention time, review Lytx events, and coach drivers accordingly. Document behaviors in Workday and issue Risk Associated Behaviors (RABs) according to Ryder policy.
  • Review HOS violations in Geotab, coach drivers on related violations, and document violations in Workday as necessary.
  • Responsible for ensuring the tracking of driver attendance, pay, status, etc., in Workday.
  • Provide ongoing direction and leadership to drivers to ensure excellent customer service, KPI achievement, and development of drivers.
  • Collaborate with others in the company to identify and implement local and national creative solutions to improve driver retention.
  • Manage driver payroll and ensure drivers have quality time at home.
  • Ensure driver training is in compliance.
