At The Spice House, we're on a mission to inspire home cooks and professional chefs alike to create delicious food with the freshest spices. As a Spice Merchandiser, you'll play a key role in helping our customers discover new flavors and ingredients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service in a specialty food retail environment
• Build rapport with customers through conversation and honest recommendations about our spice products
• Collaborate with fellow team members to maintain a clean, organized, and restocked sales floor
• Assist in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year retail experience and/or relatable experience preferred
• Available for 2-4 shifts/week, including weekends and weekdays between 10am-8pm
• Friendly, outgoing demeanor with a strong commitment to customer service
• Ability to express oneself clearly and persuasively when connecting with customers
• Professional and positive mentality with the ability to problem solve
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, walk and stand for extended periods of time
