Position Overview
The Marketing Assistant plays a crucial role in executing the marketing strategies and initiatives of Coast Professional. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at supporting the marketing team and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and distribution of sales proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Monitor upcoming proposal opportunities and provide relevant research to the business development team.
- Organize and prioritize marketing team tasks to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct competitive research to generate innovative ideas and maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage the marketing inventory and process orders for new materials to ensure sufficient supply.
- Oversee the shipment of marketing materials to events, ensuring timely arrival and departure.
- Maintain the company's registration information across various platforms.
- Conduct and disseminate company surveys.
- Stay updated on procurement and industry trends through relevant websites and databases.
- Develop engaging content and materials for targeted marketing campaigns to achieve company objectives.
- Participate in cross-training for RFx and Sales Proposal creation as needed.
- Undertake additional marketing assignments as required.

Security and Compliance
All employees are responsible for safeguarding company information and adhering to security protocols. This includes managing passwords securely and ensuring the physical security of the workplace.

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of one year in a marketing or corporate role is required; two years is preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience in event planning is a plus.

Working Conditions
This position requires physical presence in the workplace, with moderate noise levels. The employee may need to lift or move items up to 10 pounds and should be able to perform various physical tasks as required.
