Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to enhance our services. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing the EXOS rehabilitation framework in compliance with all relevant local, state, and national regulations, including licensing and insurance standards.
  • Assessing physician referrals and patient records to identify necessary physical therapy interventions.
  • Conducting patient assessments, measurements, and evaluations, documenting findings to refine treatment or training programs.
  • Delivering appropriate therapies as indicated, while instructing, motivating, and guiding patients towards their rehabilitation goals.
  • Evaluating incoming athletes using FMS and EXOS UQ/LQ screening methods to assess training levels and safety.
  • Utilizing screening results to create prehabilitation protocols and interventions as necessary.
  • Supervising and guiding Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) or support staff in delivering patient care and fulfilling their responsibilities.
  • Documenting patient treatments, responses, and progress daily in accordance with company protocols.
  • Completing necessary documentation and billing processes promptly as per company policy.
  • Updating treatment plans and reevaluating patients as required to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Collaborating and consulting with other medical professionals regarding patient care.
  • Building relationships with external medical professionals, including orthopedic specialists, internal medicine practitioners, dental experts, chiropractors, and massage therapists.
  • Assisting the Billing Service as needed to ensure timely billing processes.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred).
  • Active PT Licensure in the state of practice.
  • Preferred certifications include ATC, CSCS, SCS, and OCS, though not mandatory.
  • Experience with EXOS through prior internships or mentorship programs is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings.
