We are excited to announce an opening for a Hardwood Floor Consultant at Peter Paracca & Sons Inc in the Pittsburgh area.

Job Summary: As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our extensive range of hardwood floor products and services to customers, ensuring they receive expert advice and guidance throughout the buying process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Meet with customers to discuss their hardwood floor needs, providing expert advice and recommendations
  • Explain product features, benefits, and pricing to customers, ensuring they understand the value proposition
  • Work closely with the sales team to maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring products are always available to meet customer demands
  • Process customer orders efficiently, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, showcasing excellent customer service skills

Requirements and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous sales experience, preferably in a retail or customer-facing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Basic math skills, with accuracy when processing transactions and handling cash

Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive estimated salary of $52,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience, plus opportunities for bonuses, commissions, and career advancement. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
