Mercy Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical / Pediatric Unit. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including children and adults with various medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to individuals with complex medical needs, including those with chronic illnesses and those requiring specialized treatments.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and monitor patient vital signs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in medical care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds regularly, as well as stand and walk for prolonged periods.
