Corrections LPN

Seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience in corrections, psychiatric, or related nursing environments to join our team for a 13-week direct contract in Rifle, CO and nearby locations.

As an LPN in this role, you will be responsible for examining patients in the correctional environment, evaluating their response to treatment, and monitoring their progress. You will also provide mental health and emotional support for inmates and refer them to appropriate mental health resources when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in psych, corrections, or related nursing, a current CO or multistate LPN license in good standing, active BLS certification, and a clean background check upon hire.

This role offers a competitive salary, with estimated weekly gross earnings ranging from $1,872.00 to $2,080.00 based on 36-40 hours worked per week. Additionally, you can expect:

In this role, you will work 12 and 8-hour shifts, with potential for overtime. Your responsibilities will include:

• Examining patients and monitoring their progress
• Providing mental health and emotional support
• Assisting the physician/RN with exams and treatments
• Sick call with a physician to see inmates
• Pill pass and dispensing medications
