Job Title: Awake Overnight Residential Counselor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Awake Overnight Residential Counselor to join our team at Vinfen. As a key member of our community-based services, you will provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement.

About the Role:
  • Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting their independence and quality of life.
  • Implement treatment plans and administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP).
  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal care and household tasks.
  • Participate in nightly cleaning and filing duties.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injury strongly preferred.
  • Strong time management and writing skills.
  • Ability to become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment.
  • Pass a CORI, reference, national fingerprinting, and driving record check.
