We are seeking a skilled Electronics Installation and Service Expert to join our team at Securitas Electronic Security. In this role, you will be responsible for providing service on our products at customer sites, addressing post-installation problems on security systems and equipment, and performing special project work when needed.

Job Summary

The Embedded Service Technician I will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various security systems, ensuring they operate effectively and efficiently. This role requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities to interact with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Service and repair security systems, including CCTV and access control systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspections, adjustments, cleaning, and calibrations.
  • Respond to emergency calls and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • MUST HOLD a minimum of 1-2 years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred.
  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of intrusion detection systems, electronic access control, CCTV, IP video, surveillance systems, fire alarm and life safety systems.
