Bartender - Hogan Grille

Job Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for guests in the Food and Beverage venues at Hershey Country Club.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve all alcoholic and bar prepared drinks according to menu standards.
• Operate the point of sale system and register accurately.
• Understand and adhere to all accounting and cash control responsibilities.
• Perform all aspects of opening and closing procedures.
• Receive and store beverage products in a proper and orderly manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Create daily drink specials in conjunction with Management.
• Complete all side work as set forth in the operating standards.
• Ensure the bar par is adequate and that the liquor requisition is according to standard.
• Assist in the training of other staff.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Working knowledge of wines, beers, and liquors.
• Must be able to pass the accredited alcohol server test (RAMP) within the probation period.
• A minimum of one year bartender experience is preferred.

Working Conditions:

The work schedule for this position begins mid-August through October-November, with the potential to work year-round based on operational needs.

Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 60 pounds and be able to stand for the duration of shift.

Must be able to work flexible hours based upon operational needs to include: lunch, dinner, and late night shifts with the possibility of breakfast shifts.

Shifts include weekends and holidays.

This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority.
