Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Assistant to join our team at Carle Health. As an MRI Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our MRI Technologists during procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany and assist MRI Technologists with patient care and tasks
  • Practice sterile techniques and prevent cross-contamination
  • Transport patients to and from the MRI department
  • Maintain annual competency assessment for skills needed to perform this job
  • Assist with cleaning equipment and maintaining a clean environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
  • Positive attitude and willingness to assess and improve work environment
