We are seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our team at US Foods, Inc. The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include the inspection, repair, and maintenance of fleet road equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Qualifications
• Valid Class-A CDL license and DOT certification (preferred)
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in heavy duty commercial diesel mechanics or reefer mechanics
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
