Position Overview:

The Maintenance and Repair Specialist is responsible for the ownership of assigned toolsets, ensuring optimal performance through preventive maintenance, repairs, and on-demand support. This role is crucial in maintaining the operational efficiency of equipment within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Assist in the setup and repair of tools and machinery.
  • Provide on-demand service support and troubleshooting for various processing tools, including Wet & Dry processing systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance activities, work orders, and tool calibrations.
  • Perform necessary repairs on toolset-related equipment as required.
  • Participate in waste and recyclable material collection efforts.
  • Ensure the maintenance of facilities to support a safe and clean working environment.
  • Help manage spare parts inventory and preventive maintenance documentation.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors for equipment maintenance and support.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a maintenance role or similar field.
  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is essential.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and adjusting machinery programs.
  • Experience in Class 7 or Class 8 cleanroom environments is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. safely.
  • Skilled in servicing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing aspects of manufacturing equipment.
  • Certification or training in forklift operation, OSHA standards, and hazardous materials safety is required.
  • Willingness to work in high-noise environments as needed.

Preferred Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Vocational or Technical Education is advantageous.

Training Requirements:

  • On-the-job training will be provided as necessary.
