Responsibilities- Obtain comprehensive data from patients, families, and other healthcare providers to develop a holistic picture of patient needs or conditions.
- Analyze and synthesize data to determine diagnoses or conditions relevant to care.
- Identify optimal outcomes for patients in collaboration with patients, families, and interprofessional teams.
- Develop and implement plans that prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain outcomes, using clinical judgment in collaboration with patients, families, and interprofessional teams.
- Evaluate processes and progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.
- Contribute to the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, evaluating own practice and maintaining current knowledge and competence.
- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice, collaborating with patients, families, and interprofessional teams.
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification from the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification from the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA).
