Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Nocturnist to join our team at ProLocums. This role involves providing exceptional care during nighttime hours, ensuring that patients receive the attention they need while maintaining high standards of medical practice.

Responsibilities:
- Manage hospital admissions and provide comprehensive care to patients during the night shift.
- Collaborate with the day team to ensure seamless patient transitions and continuity of care.
- Perform necessary procedures including intubations, para/thoracentesis, and central line placements.
- Respond to medical alerts and run stroke alerts as required.

Qualifications:
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, or true board eligibility.
- Active South Carolina medical license, DEA registration, and SCDHEC controlled substance license.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Work Environment:
- Average patient census of 43, with a maximum of 10 admissions per night.
- Tele-ICU coverage available for critical care support.
- Single coverage model to ensure focused patient care.
