Compensation Specialist Job Description
This position supports the administration of employee benefits, including reviewing and resolving open enrollment discrepancies and assisting with 401(k) census correction and audit preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, FSA, and ancillary insurance carriers.
- Assist with 401(k) administration, including census correction and audit preparation.
- Manage benefit contracts and agreements, including sorting and filing retirement plan documents and scanning current files.
- Collaborate with the benefits team and pension recordkeeper to ensure accurate plan data and correct discrepancies.
- Communicate with employees regarding benefit information and assist with setup and population of internal systems communication sites.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll/benefit HCM platforms.
- Intermediate Excel knowledge and proficiency with Email, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience interacting with vendors and TPAs to implement actions and resolve 1st level benefit issues.
- 5-7 years of experience supporting administration of employee benefit programs, including 401(k), leave of absence management, FSA, medical, dental, vision, COBRA administration, and pensions records, administration, and data review.
