About the Position

TravelNurseSource is partnering with Coast Medical Service to find a qualified Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) for a challenging and rewarding assignment in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stepdown RN to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Stepdown RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to patients in a stepdown unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • ACLS and BLS certification.
  • Core Mandatory Part I, II, and III exams.
  • Dysrhythmia (BASIC) exam.
  • FL Education Attestation.
  • NIHSS exam.
  • PCU (Stepdown) RN Skills Checklist.
  • Progressive Care RN exam.
  • RN Pharmacology exam.
