AVADE Training Specialist

Lake Health District is seeking a skilled AVADE Training Specialist to lead instructor-led training sessions on Workplace Violence Prevention (WVP) and Assaulter Vulnerability Assessment and Deflection Evaluation (AVADE).
Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 per year.
This is a PRN, non-benefited position that requires the ability to teach a minimum of 10 classes per year. The successful candidate will possess an Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience and certification in AVADE/WPV training.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver engaging training programs on WVP and AVADE
- Maintain accurate records of training completion and participant feedback
- Collaborate with other trainers to ensure consistent messaging and quality training
- Associate's degree in healthcare or safety-related field OR combination of education and relevant work experience
- Current instructor certification in AVADE/WPV
- Minimum two years' experience in an acute care hospital setting
