Mental Health Partners is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Trainer to join our team. As a Clinical Trainer, you will provide training to behavioral health workforce members to enhance their career and professional development, and externally in the community for partner organizations, community groups, or community-wide training sessions.
You will train our staff on behavioral health modalities, provide clinical consultation for those modalities, and teach generalized strategies for our clients' behavioral health needs. In the community, you will provide training on a variety of topics including stigma reduction, mental health and wellness, suicide prevention, and burnout and resiliency strategies.
This role requires a strong background in mental health, experience with evidence-based practices, and excellent public speaking skills. If you are passionate about mental health and have a desire to make a difference in the community, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver training programs for behavioral health workforce members
- Provide clinical consultation and training on behavioral health modalities
- Teach generalized strategies for clients' behavioral health needs
- Deliver training on stigma reduction, mental health and wellness, suicide prevention, and burnout and resiliency strategies
- Masters' degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work or similar
- Five (5) years of experience in mental or behavioral health care practicing direct client care
- Experience with healthcare environments and their complexities
- Two (2+) years experience writing, delivering, or developing curriculum
- Certification in evidence-based practice curriculums
