Audiology Specialist

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional hearing healthcare to patients of all ages. You will conduct thorough and accurate diagnostic audiological evaluations, including hearing aid testing, evaluation, selection, and fittings tailored to each patient's unique needs.
As an audiologist, you will work closely with ENT physicians to communicate diagnostic findings and develop effective treatment plans. Additionally, you will perform electrophysiological and balance testing as part of our comprehensive diagnostic services.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients, yourself, and others.
- Perform comprehensive audiologic evaluations and balance assessments.
- Provide amplification services, including hearing aid assessment and real ear measurements.
- Consult with physicians on hearing disorders and make recommendations.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $67,040 - $97,956, based on the provided hourly range ($32.23 - $46.33). As an employee of UNC Health, you will be eligible for competitive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 403(b) retirement plan.
Requirements and Qualifications:To be considered for this role, you must have a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) or Master's degree in Audiology with continuous active certification. A North Carolina State Audiology License and BCLS are also required. Previous audiologist experience is preferred.
