Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This is a full-time position that will work 12-hour Night shifts.

About the Role

As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their families. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to expectant mothers and their families
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
  • Current National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification
  • 1 year of nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current National Certification in area of specialty
