Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary needs are met
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including housekeeping and laundry
- Support residents with behavior management, socialization, and activities
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement resident service plans
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Basic reading and writing skills, with ability to speak English clearly
- Previous experience working with elderly, with dementia experience preferred
- Certification required according to state regulations
The Resident Caregiver must be able to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods, with ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Good physical and mental health is essential for this role.
